You will experience a superb level of care at Beech House Care Home. We believe our care provision should revolve around the needs of the individual therefore, the care we provide is different for every resident. Everyone deserves to lead a happy life so, wherever possible we will; encourage and help you to continue with any interests and hobbies you have, ensure you can maintain contacts with family, friends and the local community, provide a choice of activities and in-house entertainment that you can join in with, all to keep both body and mind in shape.
We are registered with the CQC and are proud to be one of very few homes rated by them as OUTSTANDING. We also hold Band 5 Status with Nottinghamshire County Council (the best there is) and have been rewarded with the Dementia Quality Mark (DQM) for excellence in dementia care. We also have a 5 Star Food Hygiene Rating.
Beech House caters for people over the age of 65 who are in need of care and attention similar to that which would be given by a relative/carer in their own home, but we provide it 24 hours a day. We are committed to providing a quality service to our tight knit community and only recruit people who can deliver this.
We have full access to the local GP and the district nurse team, meaning minor illnesses and wounds can be cared for in the home. In more serious cases however, residents may be referred to hospital for treatment.
The hairdresser (Julie) visits us weekly and the chiropodist (Rebecca) visits every month. The only other additional costs are for newspapers, magazines and any telephone bills. All costs incurred by residents are managed through our digital CMS system, the home ensures appropriate records/invoices are kept and all individual accounts are fully accessible.
Respite care (short term stays) are also on offer at Beech House Care Home, if we have availability.
“My mum has lived at Beech House Care Home since 2022. She has advanced dementia now. I can honestly say that it’s been very hard for me seeing her decline but all the staff have been very supportive. Letting go of your own mother and having someone else look after her, isn't an easy thing to do. Nevertheless, I’m very confident in the fact there is no other care home that matches the quality of care and standards of Beech House. There are not enough words to say how grateful I am for all the care that Mum receives. From the professional, very supportive management team, the carers, the wonderful activities lady, the cooks and all the other staff. Everyone plays their part, in enriching my mum's life. After working in the care sector myself for a long time, there is no other care home that comes close to Beech House. Thank you so much”.
